In November 2004 I took a class with Barbara Barber, the wonderful
British quilter. After making one block of her Leapfrog pattern, I
decided that I would scale down the blocks for the "real"
quilt. This one is now a small art quilt. Barbara's technique of
using bias binding to cover round applique shapes--rather than doing
curved piecing--is genius!
